How I Build Partnerships

    Co-Elevation

Co-elevation is a concept I was introduced to while reading Leading Without Authority by Keith Ferrazzi. Anytime you have a partnership or relationship of any kind, the foundation of that interaction is to provide each party with a way to grow. When you create a partnership where you’re both focused on elevating each other through the relationship that is when you are really building long lasting, strong partnerships.

  • Empathy

Having the ability to approach partnerships with empathy is something that I bring to the table because understanding a partner’s “Why” is critical to building strong partnerships beyond the black and white of a contract. The “why” of a partner’s goals incorporates more than just the analytics and allows the partnership to grow beyond expectations.

  • Trust

Building trust takes someone to be genuine and patience. But when you are stacking concepts like co-elevation and empathy on top of a foundation of trust it completes a strong bond that allows partners to give and receive feedback. Trust opens the channels of communication like no other business tactic.

Results.

Completed internal budget and partner contract deep-dive analysis that resulted in the saving of over $340,000 during a year impacted by COVID.

Proposed new automated process that lead directly to cutting over 500 hours and allowed that department to reinvest that time to more financially impactful opportunities.

Developed entirely new work flow that led to a reduction of customer check-in time by 20% while increasing the quality of customer information documentation.
